Civil Engineer in Training (EIT)
EIT will work under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer on a variety of projects including multi-family, single-family, commercial, and industrial developments, as well as utility infrastructure projects. Candidates will work in the office performing engineering calculations and operating CAD software. Team members will use a variety of technologies to effectively communicate with collaborators to achieve project goals.
Prerequisites:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Successfully completed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam
- Site development knowledge (basic grading and hydrology)
- Understanding of construction and surveying methods
- Ability to read and create construction plans
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Highly organized with the ability to keep accurate records and multi-task
- Passion for solving problems and working collaboratively
- Desire to continually learn and excel professionally
- Flexibility to work well in an office setting
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar
- Strong foundation of knowledge in Microsoft Office products

Surveying Techincian
CEC is looking for motivated surveying technicians to join our team. Surveying technicians will work under the supervision of a survey crew chief on a variety of projects including: performing topographic and boundary surveys, providing construction staking for multi-family, single-family, commercial, and industrial developments as well as utility infrastructure projects; and performing survey calculations. Technicians will work in the field using a variety of technologies to achieve project goals.
